Adobe Premiere Pro CC is the newest version of Adobe’s pro-level video editing application and it is a part of the Creative Cloud subscription model with added features. With this application Adobe has integrated more use of compression codec’s such as ProRes and DNxHD families but the design objective is to edit as much as possible with native camera media for more user friendly experience. In this application there is no built-in transcode function, so if you prefer to work with transcoded media you have to prepare the files before editing with Adobe Media Encoder CC or Prelude CC. However, now it has become easier to create custom sequence presets with ProRes or DNxHD because this application gives rendered preview files for faster exports.

It can be said that it is better than ever with a variety of native camera formats with more added functionality options. Users have to just simply access the copied camera files using the Media Browser and import them into your project and drop clips onto the timeline and start editing for any type of format. At the same time all the formats will play fluidly in real-time (using the half-resolution timeline playback setting) and gives you far better experience then Premiere Pro CS6.

The biggest feature in this application I can say is the Link & Locate and has improved media management. With Adobe Premiere Pro CC the Media linking at launch is much faster and it is also better at finding clips and staying connected with them. But sometimes it is necessary for the editors to change the clip to media connection. Adobe has also reengineered both the audio and the video engines in this application. The audio changes have been more in line with Audition CC and which makes it a 64 bit application. While the video changes introduce the same deep color science used in SpeedGrade and this means the color correction flow is from Premiere Pro CC to SpeedGrade CC which will not go back to Pro CC. Adobe has enhanced the interaction between the two by integrating the Lumetri color effects from SpeedGrade into Premiere Pro CC.

This application gets installed with a set of stylized presets such as bleach bypass, warm, cool, cinematic and many more which are common to both SpeedGrade CC and Pro CC. In order to install this application the user has to first install the Creative Cloud desktop application with this it is possible to manage the aspects of Creative Cloud account which includes both installation and updating of the software. It also enables to get access to all of Adobe’s content creation tools and it is also useful to install Prelude CC, Audition CC, After Effects CC, SpeedGrade CC and Photoshop CC and with this the user gets Adobe Media Encoder CC, Cinema4D Lite, and Mocha plug-ins for After Effects. With this application adding or changing commands to make editing more fluid becomes easy. So, this application is very logical solution for editors or users to make them comfortable with a familiar track-based interface. It also integrates well into a multi-editor and multi-suite facility and it’s easy to move projects and media between different editors and volumes. Another feature which makes it impeccable is the easy project management to create consolidated projects with trimmed I-frame formats or media for archiving and also handles the single and self-contained project file with all the edit data. So,  Adobe Premiere Pro CC is definitely a winner.
